Most of what goes wrong here is not the fabric
A shade that binds, a bracket that pulls out of drywall, a motor that had to be decided before the tube was ordered, a valance that clears the ceiling by half an inch: none of that is a product problem. It is a measuring and fitting problem, and it is the reason a window treatment company is worth more than a website with fabrics on it.
So this page is not a catalog. It is what we actually do, in the order it happens, and who does each part.

We measure every opening at your home, in the light of the actual room. Square is rare in Miami: we measure the width in three places and the drop in three, and we mount to the smallest of them.

- The call
Room by room: which way the glass faces, what time of day you use it, and what you are trying to stop. Heat, glare, the neighbors or the sunrise are four different answers.
- The measurement at your home
Every opening measured, with the swatch books on the table. This is also when we tell you what a shade will not fix, which saves both of us a return visit.
- Your building’s rules
If you are in a condominium, we ask the association for its window covering requirements before anything is ordered, and the quote is built to satisfy them.
- The written quote
Per window, naming the exact fabric and its rating, the mount, the lift, the lead time and the install date. Fixed before you pay anything.
- Manufacture and install
Made to your measurements, then fitted by the same team. Motorized units are set up, paired to the remote or the app and left working in front of you.
- Afterwards
If something moves, binds or stops responding, you call the number you called at the start. Nobody is going to tell you the installer was a contractor and not their problem.
What we do not do, so you do not waste a call
We do not do storm shutters, impact windows or exterior hurricane protection. It is a different trade with a different set of approvals, and we would rather say so on this page than after a visit.
We do not quote over the phone from a photograph either. A number given before anyone has measured is a number that changes, and changing it later is how this industry ended up with the reputation it has.
Commercial and building work
A good part of what we do is in towers, hotels and offices, where the schedule is the hard part: freight elevator windows, vendor certificates, work outside business hours and a management company that needs the specification in its own format.

Who measures and installs the window treatments in Miami?
We do, in house. Every project runs through Romina, in English or in Spanish, and the team that takes the measurement is the team that comes back to install. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor you have not met.
Is the in-home measurement free?
Yes, and so is the written quote. We bring the fabric swatches to your windows, measure every opening and leave you with a quote per window. There is no obligation and nothing to pay until you approve it.
Do you install window treatments you did not sell?
Ask us. It depends on the make, the hardware and whether the parts are still available, so tell us the brand and model when you call and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
Can you repair a shade that has stopped working?
Often, yes. Lifts, brackets, chains, tubes and motors are usually serviceable. If the part is discontinued we will say so rather than sell you a repair that will not last.
Do you handle motorization yourselves?
Yes. We install Somfy motorization: motors, remotes, wall switches and app control, set up and paired before we leave. It has to be specified before we order, because the motor sits inside the roller tube.
Do you work in condominium buildings?
Most of our work is in buildings. We ask your association for its window covering rules before ordering and build the quote to match them, including the specification sheet in the format the management asks for.
